Pups are 1 week old today!

What a beautiful Memorial Day weekend!  We hope you all had a great weekend!

My family enjoyed our time playing outside and working in the yard!  

The pups are 1 week old today and getting some little chubby bellies!

Proud to announce we have 5 healthy pups!  

1 female (the reddest of the crew) and 4 males.  

Macy did fantastic! Except for the fact that she only had 5!

With Richie being out of town I depended on my parents and sis to help with the kiddos today.  

The boys got off the bus right when Calisee woke from her nap and my mom shuttled them to my sisters. 

The boys took the kayaks out in the pond and Calisee played with my niece in a little pool.  

I had a quiet house and got to SIT and hang with Macy and cute little puppies!  

After the initial "THE PUPPIES ARE COMING!" it turned out to be some nice quiet down time for me :)

I'm so nervous and EXCITED!

Due Date....no puppies yet

Today is Macy's due date and I see some changes in her tummy but not her actions.

I had to tell Calisee that Macy has a hurt tummy so she won't sit on her anymore, Calisee doesn't quite understand the puppy in the tummy thing :)  

Macy's last 2 litters have been 3 days late and OF COURSE my hubby has an out of town meeting and will be home late Wednesday evening, my sister and parents are on standby!  

I love that we all live so close!

Today we celebrated (again) our son, Dylan's 8th birthday!  Last Saturday we had a swim party at the pool. Today we went the to annual fish fair at Fireman's pond and the boys not only caught fish but also both won new fishing poles :) Tomorrow is Dylan's real birthday and we will have a yummy family breakfast at home and then the big boys get to go to the lake to swim, fish and take a ride on my parents boat.  Calisee and I will stay home (chasing a toddler today was enough) to keep an eye on Miss Macy!

PS.... Macy, please let me sleep tonight, anytime after 5am would be wonderful!

Getting ready for puppies!

Today I went shopping to stock up on items needed for the expected arrival of Macy's puppies!  Macy is due this Saturday and Ginny is/was due next Saturday.  I hate to say it but I don't think Ginny is pregnant :(  I haven't given up hope but I thought that by now I would be able to see a "bump".
